Charity Case barrel fermented 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is a luscious, structured wine. The nose is a blend of ripe gooseberry, apricot and lemon zest. The palate is viscous and full-bodied with hints of pineapple, melon and coconut, with a long, creamy finish. Basically it's the pina colada of wine!
This donated wine is handmade by a group of dedicated winemakers to ensure a sustainable future for charities serving children and families in and around Napa County. All the fruit that goes into making this wine, the services of the winemakers and other winery personnel, as well as sales efforts are volunteered and the net proceeds, after bottling expenses, go to charity.
